    hello friends

    Saturday, June 23, 2007, 12:39 PM [General]

    I'm cat.

I bowled for around five years when I was a kid, and gave it away just after I started high school. After 10 years away from the lanes, I decided to join a league for fun... 18 months later I have a 190+ average and a spot on the state team. Crazy.

I'm generally a fairly boring person. I'm at art school, I like making things and spending time with my dog. Basically, I just try to do whatever makes me happy. At the moment I'm building custom guitars and making hand-made films on top of my photographic and installation work.

Generally I make a point of trying to learn new skills as often as possible, at the moment I'm learning about radial geometry and how it relates to bowling ball drilling. In simple terms, I now know for certain that it's not the ball's fault, it's definitely mine. Having spent so much time out of the sport, I feel completely lost a lot of the time, but I'm doing my best to bridge the gap.

I firmly believe that life and everything associated with the concept of 'living' is hilarious. While life may not always be fun, laughter is a lot less painful than putting your head through a plate glass window.

    cat.
